Chiva-Som will open its new property in Petchaboon province in 2010. After the success of Chiva-Som at Hua Hin over the past 12 years, the picturesque and mountainous northern province of Petchaboon will be home to the next Chiva-Som health resort.

UK-based architects Syntax, creators of the Hua Hin property, have been appointed to design this new 115-room health resort. Set on 254 acres in Khao Kho, it will be much larger than Hua Hin, reflecting expected growth in the luxury health resort market.

With rich tourism potential and a pleasant climate owing to its mountain and forest location 1,000 metres above sea level, Chiva-Som Khao Kho will be the most advanced resort of its kind and, like Chiva-Som Hua Hin before it, the benchmark against which all future health resorts will be measured.

There are many interesting places to visit in the area include Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, Phu Soi Dao National Park, Kangsopa Waterfall, and Sukhothai Historical Park.
