The Natural Health Retreat is your chance to pro-actively find out how your body is withstanding the challenges of time.
We all have different constitutional strengths and weaknesses. Sometimes these are minor, and we live in harmony with them, sometimes they are more significant and unless we take care to support the weaker organs or systems we find symptoms coming up. Normally these begin as insignificant annoyances but over the years when ignored can build up into more serious imbalances and complaints.
This
retreat focuses around the complementary methods of assessing the strength and weaknesses of the body. Utilizing techniques such as Iridology, Reflexology, Live blood analysis, bio-terrain and Chi Nei Tsang, and summarized within a naturopathic or nutrition consultation. The use of these techniques adds a new dimension to the standard blood tests and physical examinations which most often come up normal despite our feeling of unease, tiredness or lack of energy.

Health & Wellness
After your arrival an appointment will be arranged for you with a Health & Wellness Consultant. This holistic consultation will include a full discussion of your medical history; current state of health and your goals for your stay in Chiva-Som. Weight, body measurements and blood pressure will also be taken.
Special Requests
Should you have any special preferences such as non-allergenic pillows, special dietary considerations, etc please inform reservations when making your booking and we will try our best to accommodate you.
Note
Valid for travel until 15th December 2006 and Three-Nights is a minimum period of stay.
Subject to room availability and change without prior notice.
Check-In/Check-Out
Check-In is from 2pm, Check-Out is 12 noon.
Deposit and Cancellation
Your booking is guaranteed with any major credit card. Cancellations received less than 14 days before arrival date will incur a charge of 50% of all estimated costs. Cancellations or reduced stays whilst at the resort will incur a charge of 100% of all estimated costs.
Booking for 20th December 2006 - 5th January 2007 requires a full payment 60 days before arrival date.
Policies of Chiva-Som
It is important for us to maintain a restful and
relaxing atmosphere for all our guests and in this regard we regret we
cannot accept children under 16 years of age. Mobile phones are also
strictly prohibited.
Chiva-Som's healthy
environment has been created to give everyone the best possible benefits,
this is why we limit alcoholic drinks to champagne and wine available in
the evening only, and only allow smoking in designated outdoor
areas.
Gala
Dinner
A supplement US$250 per person will
apply for the New Year's Eve Gala Dinner. Rate is subject to 17.7% service
charge and V.A.T.
