Chiva-Som provides an ideal setting for a personal yoga and meditation retreat, a chance to go inward and focus on personal healing. Nothing facilitates our personal development like the ability to be mindful and self-aware. This is the fruit of Yoga and meditation healing that takes place on all levels as we begin to nurture body, mind and spirit. When yoga is developed over time, it becomes something that is integrated into a person, a kind of awareness and understanding that remain long after asana practice has stopped. Techniques of breathing and body awareness are at the core of yoga and meditation, and they will be your spring-board for practicing mindfulness in everyday life.

Health & Wellness
After your arrival an appointment will be arranged for you with a Health & Wellness Consultant. This holistic consultation will include a full discussion of your medical history; current state of health and your goals for your stay in Chiva-Som. Weight, body measurements and blood pressure will also be taken.

Should you have any special preferences such as non-allergenic pillows, special dietary considerations, etc please inform reservations when making your booking and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Valid for travel until 15th December 2006 and Three-Nights is a minimum period of stay.

Check-In/Check-Out
Check-In is from 2pm, Check-Out is 12 noon .
Deposit and Cancellation
Your booking is guaranteed with any major credit card. Cancellations received less than 14 days before arrival date will incur a charge of 50% of all estimated costs. Cancellations or reduced stays whilst at the resort will incur a charge of 100% of all estimated costs.
Booking for 20th December 2006 - 5th January 2007 requires a full payment 60 days before arrival date.
Policies of Chiva-Som
It is important for us to maintain a restful and relaxing atmosphere for all our guests and in this regard we regret we cannot accept children under 16 years of age. Mobile phones are also strictly prohibited.
Chiva-Som's healthy environment has been created to give everyone the best possible benefits, this is why we limit alcoholic drinks to champagne and wine available in the evening only, and only allow smoking in designated outdoor areas.
Gala Dinner
A supplement US$250 per person will apply for the New Year's Eve Gala Dinner. Rate is subject to 17.7% service charge and V.A.T.
