King’s birthday
His Majesty King Bhumibol’s Birthday and Father‘s Day December 5th, Thailand’s national Father’s Day. And on his birthday, religious rites are held, and buildings are decorated with flags, lights and the King’s portraits. The whole nation prays to the Holy Triple Gem and all the sacred things in the universe to bless His Majesty with good health and happiness and the strength to carry on his onerous task. At Chiva-Som, guests are invited for an informal mocktail gathering at the Orchid Lounge to celebrate on Saturday, 5th December 2009 at 18:30 hrs. Here below are the pictures for last year event.
