Chalat Worayanyong

Music Therapist

Biography

Chalat Worayanyong completed his master’s degree in music therapy at SRH Hochschule Heidelberg in 2012. Since then, he has been working as a professional music therapist in a psychosomatic rehabilitation clinic and in a psychiatric hospital in Germany. He is also the first Thai Music Therapist to receive certification from the Germany Music Therapy Association. His works rely on psychotherapy knowledge combined with Buddhist philosophy and the use of music to help clients find possible solutions to their discomfort. Throughout the session, the client will experience his dedication and attentive accompaniment.

Private Music Therapy

The private session focuses on the use of music experiences within a therapeutic relationship to perceive your strength and needs, to induce self-healing, and to discover your inner resources. Both receptive and active methods are individually customised and designed to fit your needs and character. You can experiment with music in different ways to create something new, such as playing instruments, making sounds, singing or listening to music. Throughout the 90 minutes, I will assist you in finding and developing your own tools that you can take with you and apply to your daily life.

Mindfulness and Music

Mindfulness is the practice of being fully aware of occurrences in the present moment. This session focuses on training a mindfulness attitude with varied music activities. Every session starts with an opening exercise, followed by a music experience coupled with a new mindfulness attitude. At the closing of each session, your experience, and the transfer of each exercise into daily life, will be discussed.
