On Sunday, 1st December at our newly-renovated Taste of Siam restaurant, Chiva-Som hosted the first ‘Wellness Journey Fundraising Gala Dinner’ to raise funds for Krailart Niwate, the mangrove preservation and environmental wellness project to protect Hua Hin’s last remaining mangrove forest. Attendees enjoyed an 8-course dinner comprising delightful dishes created by our Executive Chef Sinchai Srivipa and special guest chef Dan Bark from Upstairs Mikkeller Restaurant. The event raised THB 350,000 in which the profit will go towards Krailart Niwate.
Krailart Niwate mangrove preservation project, which started in 2007, is one of the environmental wellness projects under The Preserve Hua Hin Group spearheaded by Mr. Krip Rojanastien, CEO and Chairman of Chiva-Som and the Preserve Hua Hin Group under the Royal patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Located in the area of Khao Krailart temple, the Krailart Niwate mangrove is the last remaining mangrove forest in Hua Hin.
