As you may know, Chiva-Som’s latest stage of resort renovation has begun, in which the resort will be under temporary closure and its critical areas renovated.  Chiva-Som has undergone milestone renovation with the Suites and Ocean Rooms recently completed. The temporary closure is geared to facilitate even more extensive upgrading of both the accommodation rooms and public areas.

The resort will undergo two temporary off-peak closures, as follows:
1 May to October, 2018 – reopening on 1 November, 2018
1 May to October, 2019 – reopening on 1 November, 2019

We are pleased to share a preview of what you can expect from the 2018 renovation:

The Thai Pavilions will be much more spacious, refreshed with a contemporary Thai style and a brand new room type, the ‘Thai Pavilion Suite’ will be available.

The Emerald Room will be brighter to give a fresh and relaxing ambience.

The Orchid Lounge will be revitalized with a new layout and style, that includes a juice bar and live music corner.

The Fitness Centre will feature a new reception area, dedicated stretching area, new equipment, and will also include a refunctional exercise studio.

Not only will the above areas achieve a new look and feel, but we are also rearranging the Library and Guest Relations area.
