We support our health and wellness and boost our mental and emotional states too, when we improve our fitness levels. At Zulal we have fitness options to suit every guest whether it is in group exercise classes or private sessions with our experts and the use of our high level equipment. Most of us are not sure of our actual fitness level or what is the most suitable style of exercise to suit our goals, so we recommend having a fitness assessment to help you understand your body more clearly and to set achievable targets – that our team will help you reach.

Our Personal Fitness Assessment measures your degree of flexibility, strength and cardiovascular endurance as well as your Body Composition Analysis that sheds light on the ratio between your body fat and muscle. Our coaches interpret all these results to come up with your recommended individual fitness plan at the resort.

Our two other fitness assessments include a VO2 Max Test to measure you aerobic fitness or the amount of oxygen your body can absorb during exercise. And an FMS test which identifies asymmetries within your body that can result in painful movement.

On recommendation, you’re welcome to work one-on-one with our experts in different fitness areas, such as weight training, Thai Boxing, Super Stretching or guided use of our high tech Kinesis stations, which target specific muscle groups for optimal results. You may be more suited to more mindful styles of exercise such as guided sessions on the Reformer or MOTR Pilates equipment, yoga or meditation.

You’re welcome to join any of our group classes that run every day from 7 am to 8 pm. These include mat Pilates, different styles of yoga, various aqua pool classes, stretch, Boot Camp, Tai Chi  and padel tennis. Or, armed with a fitness programme, you’re welcome to work out on our own as it suits you.
