During June, Advanced Certified BodyTalk Practitioner, and MindScape Instructor Angie Tourani will be on hand to support guests’ understanding of the mind-body connection, with a specific focus on stress management, mental health and immunity. Angie specialises in addressing emotional issues, anxiety, immune system weaknesses, digestive issues and hormonal problems.
Angie is available for consultation during the month (THB 10,000++ for 80 minutes) and she will also have three complimentary sessions each week:
The first of these is Holistic Health Strategies for Managing Stress, Burnout and Promoting Balance – a workshop which will see Angie share practical tools to overcome overwhelm, shift stress to resilience and transform chaos into calm.
The second is Mind-Body Medicine, Enhancing Immunity in the Modern World – a talk in which Angie will support guests’ understanding of the delicate equilibrium of attack vs tolerance and the balance needed to avoid infections, inflammation and auto-immune conditions.
And the third is Gut–Brain Axis for Optimising Immunity and Mental Health – a discussion for those seeking to explore the association between gut flora and mental wellbeing, as well as learn simple tools to balance gut microbiomes to shift the immune system out of inflammatory mode.
Furthering mental wellbeing and nutritional understanding, Chiva-Som Hua Hin’s holistic health practitioner Sarunya Khawsanit will lead a Tibetan Bowls Sound Bath on 13th June, while the resort’s pharmacist, Neeraya Wongsritrang will conduct an insightful talk on probiotics for a healthy life on 19th June.
Providing additional support for stress management, Chiva-Som will offer complimentary group classes, including circuit training, meditation and the new ‘exercise for better sleep’ fitness class, helping guests to strengthen the mind, body and spirit.
