Our everyday routine can impose stress on the body which may cause an imbalance in the system. Everything from poor posture, a sedentary lifestyle, or even repetitive movement, may cause structural imbalance, pain, and negative health consequences. Osteopaths use a system of diagnosis and treatments to achieve a state of balance, when possible, without drugs or surgery. They work with the structure and function of the body, based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning together.
